Omaka Springs Merlot 2008
The 2008 Merlot is a lovely 'ruby' red colour with delicious chocolate and mocha coffee aromas. There's a hint of vanilla from the 10 months the wine spent in oak (20% of it new). There was no filtering or fining on this wine in order to keep the depth and complexity of the dark, berry fruit flavours. A superb accompaniment to slow cooked stews and rich tomato sauces.

Omaka Springs 'Falveys' Pinot Noir 2008
The fruit was picked in the cool early mornings of April before being given the VIP treatment in the winery. Resulting in a wine with lovely, sweet cherry and blackberry flavours with just a hint of vanilla and spice. A beautiful mouth feel and fine, soft tannins lead to a lush, velvety finish.

Omaka Springs Sauvignon blanc 2009
This zesty, vibrant Sauvignon has rich grapefruit and tropical fruit characteristics. Around 9% Semillon in the blend gives a slight herby note and a wonderful fatness in the mouth. The 2009 vintage enjoyed perfect ripening conditions with spring and early summer being fairly cool, considered comparable to the fantastic 2004 harvest. Great with Greek salad, grilled prawns, sushi and Thai fish and chicken dishes.
